These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Skutch Media ("we," "us," "our"), including but not limited to studio rental, video production, podcast instruction, curated conversations, social media management, podcast production, web development and SEO, and custom studio buildout services. By accessing our website, booking a service, or utilizing our facilities, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

We offer a range of services designed to support podcasting and video production, including:

  • Video studio rental

  • Full video production services

  • Podcast instruction and coaching

  • Social media management

  • Podcast production and editing

  • Web development and SEO services

  • Custom home or office space podcast studio buildouts

  • Mobile production services

All services are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

2. Studio Rental Terms

  • Reservations: Studio time must be booked in advance through our website or by contacting us directly.

  • Payment: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due the day of your session.

  • Cancellations: Studio rentals are non-cancellable, but they are able to be rescheduled.

  • Conduct: Clients must adhere to studio rules provided at the time of booking. Any inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

  • Damages: Clients are responsible for any damages caused to the studio or equipment during their session.

3. Payment Terms

  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and ACH payments.

  • All invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may incur a 5% late fee for every 14 days past due.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours prior to your original appointment.

  • Skutch Media reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate information at the time of booking.

  • Clients are responsible for maintaining backups of all final project files. Skutch Media will hold completed projects for 30 days, and then they will be deleted.

  • Clients must ensure they have the legal rights to any third-party content used in their projects.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All original content created by Skutch Media remains the property of Skutch Media until full payment is received.

  • Upon full payment, ownership of final deliverables is transferred to the client.

  • Skutch Media reserves the right to use completed projects for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Content Ownership and Usage

  • Clients retain ownership of their final podcast and video content.

  • By working with Skutch Media, clients grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use excerpts of completed work for marketing and portfolio purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Skutch Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. This includes, but is not limited to, lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

9. Disclaimer of Guarantees

We make no guarantees regarding specific results from using our services, including but not limited to SEO rankings, podcast audience growth, or social media engagement. Outcomes vary based on numerous factors beyond our control.

10. Privacy Policy

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
